I'd almost expect any club to act agressively to steal a march on their rivals but trying to oustsmart your opposition can backfire sometimes. What they think their rivals are going to do could turn out to be wrong. PR37 is a great example and Sanchez is another. I do think they'll recruit better (not difficult!!) with Amorim in the mix.

I don't believe for a minute that Amorim didn't have any input just as I'm sure Pep is very much involved in who we sign or who we don't sign. It's a team effort. As I understand it once a player has been identified then it's the DOF who takes the major role in bringing them onboard.
