What I’ve always loved about us lot compared to those cunts is that even in our hopefully temporary demise we can still take the piss out of ourselves (match thread excused) us old cunts are already hoping to get to 40 point safety whereas the scum would start with the old “were man united ffs” or some “dna” shite.
It’s as if they only turned to shit two weeks ago. They’ve been totally gash for nigh on 13 years!. Name one other club with a record that long that’s makes headline news every fukin day?.
Imagine what it would be like if they were any good.
They have given me great entertainment for over a decade with their decline.
Their new pinball style is hilarious.
I’m getting rags msg me saying at least it wasn’t 4-0 haha these are the things they celebrate.
no mention of them winning the greatest derby game in living memory ??????

There was a question on The Chase some time back - 'Which 76k stadium is situated in Manchester?' I looked at Mrs Ewing and said there isn't one!
Did the same at a local pub quiz 'Name the only true derbys with teams from the same town or city. I didnt name Manchester, the answer had Manchester in. I went mad and nearly walked out but my missus stopped me, got my map of Manchester that i carry on my phone asking them to show me where Trafford was on the map of Manchester lol

its amazing how many rags argue this point, they think Greater Manchester is Manchester they really cant understand it.
Or they want to think that the swamp really is in Manchester.

In work on morning, around the time that PR37 resigned for the rags, I stated in front of a few of them that City was "The only football team to come from Manchester".

They were truly puzzled by this.

There is a particular irony of a Cornishman arguing this point, but then, none of the swampites was from Manchester, either.

I've even been told that greater Manchester is part of Manchester so rags are in Manchester lol.
Than when I say ( local teams ) margate fc are in ramsgate and ramsgate fc are in margate. I get told in no uncertain terms they aren't lol. But I say both come under thanet district so it's the same as greater Manchester than.
They can't get their plastic heads around that Manchester is just their name and not geographically where they are !

I personally don't like our match being called the Manchester Derby, it isn't. It's no different to City playing Bolton

I always ask people if the Emirates is in Haringey and The Lane in Islington!

I remember Durham on talkshite a few years ago, asking for clubs that played in a place that didn’t include their name.

Inevitably, some City fans suggested the rags, to which Durham replied that they have an M postcode, so they must be from Manchester.

As I said to Mrs Vienna at the time, Burnley has a BB postcode, but try telling a Burnley supporter that they are in Blackburn.

Salford also has an M postcode.
Perhaps Durham should try telling a Salfordian they're from Manchester and see what reaction he gets.

Lovely Nina Warhurst from BBC News is from a family of rags.
She's done an interview with the GPC, that's just been shown.

I'm done with her ;-)

I have no idea why this was on BBC 'News'. I used to watch BBC Breakfast but these days the news story coverage is geting less and less and they now have endless coverage of such breaking news as charity runs (not saying they're a bad thing but they're hardly news worthy of a ten minute live slot!) 'celebrity' interviews with new book releases, new film release, new album releases etc etc.

the rags must pay a bloody fortune to the BBC in order to get every nomark / celebrity/ athlete in the world on their news outlets just to hear their name every ten minutes or so.

Both the rags and the BBC are a fucking waste of airspace and hopefully will both be as irrelevant as each other very soon, as in non-existant !

The BBC News is becoming an offshoot of The One Show. I expect Roman Kemp to be fronting the 6 o'clock slot pretty soon.
