Nice summary from Mr Jackson of some , not all , on United's woes . And they are legion . Even acknowledged we are a well run club without any snidery .Didn't mention racehorses , rats in the kitchen , leaking roof , covid payments but it's a start . Had to finish with an optimistic sentence though ....although quite why anyone would subsidise this basket case to build a new stadium is beyond me ?

Rag at work was just telling me how they are about to hit the jackpot as they own two parcels of land in the middle of the planned area of Government funded re-development? He didn't like it when I corrected him and said the Glazers are about to hit the jackpot.
If this is all legit, would/could the government leave that part of the development out or force the rags to contribute?

Just had this horrible thought. Don’t know if anyone has the answer but here goes. IF the Premier League gets 5 th Chumps League place and if the Rags win the Europa , ( I know I know) will that be the 5th place or do the top 5 STILL get in….sorry for the horrible thought!!

If a Premier League club wins the Europa League, the 5th place team in the Premier League will still qualify for the Champions League. Here's how it works:
- The winners of the Europa League automatically qualify for the Champions League regardless of their league position.
- If the Europa League winners are already qualified for the Champions League through their league position, their spot does not transfer to another team; it simply means they qualify through two different paths.
- The Premier League gets an additional Champions League spot for the Europa League winners if they are not already qualified through the league, allowing up to five teams from the Premier League in the Champions League.
Therefore, the 5th place team in the Premier League will still get Champions League football even if a Premier League club wins the Europa League.
