They'll be playing in the Northern Premier League in a couple of years time after doing a Rangers.
On a more serious note what is stopping Scruffy Jim or the rednecks just clearing debt they're multi billionaires.

I fucking hope so!

Ineos doing what all big companies seem to do so well. Have a meeting about cost savings and looking round the room for ideas, glossing over the tubster gorging on suckling pig, passing over the management buddies comparing the specs of their latest leased sports cars, plain ignoring the expenses list that has just come in for twenty grand for 'entertaining' guests at hooters, and instead letting their gristly eyes settle on Myrtle the tea lady, Brian the only one who seems to know how to log in to his PC and Diane who's too timid to speak out.

Bring your own lunch, grab a free apple. If they do win the Europa thingy they're in I think the staff can just about look forward to seven asda smart price pizzas burnt to a crisp as a thank you.

I'd like to think that if that was me, regardless of the money or the contract or whatever, if I was on £300k per week or something daft I'd have absolutely no problem at all dropping it by 10% or more overnight to keep those people on. Honestly, as much as I despise that club, this is despicable of them. It's fine to cut your cloth accordingly, but when you're snipping away at Granny's 50 year old tablecloth whilst ignoring the gilded curtains you're draped in, heck even buying another set at top dollar just because you wanted to treat yourself, then you deserve every criticism that comes your way.

Honestly, I think they're in even deeper than anyone thinks, or is being reported. I think it's not just PSR compliance at risk here, I think it's the entire structure and stature of the football club which is truly unsustainable, and may need them to accept a lesser role in footballing importance to even begin to remedy. I think this is the sign of a significantly failing business, and given their near monopoly on the English game for decades, and their rise to power during the most significant period of unprecedented financial growth and exposure, which they lapped up at the fore before telling almost every other club when and how much they could take from the bowl, is a staggering show of ineptitude and mismanagement over years. Which they seem to be rapidly accelerating now in the hope that faster, more drastic action will turn it around.

Debt of half a million. Almost the same still owed to other clubs in transfer fees. Income will inevitably reduce, I think the shirt sponsor alone is less £10m if they don't get into Europe. And yet the fans still demand success. Not a rebuild. Not taking stock. Not setting expectations. Success. Now. Yesterday, in fact.

Jim does have first hand experience of turning around a struggling business, in ineos itself. But my oh my he had lots of help, from the UK government for a start. Now most of his cash is tied up in a huge gamble of a new chemical plant in Belgium, in a market suffering from stagnation and maturity and wide open to Chinese invasion, whilst he also tries to juggle a football club and several other interests, all of which are struggling and coming back to worsen the situation and his reputation. He won't like that last bit, especially. Failed businessman and investor Jim Ratcliffe, a very real potential headline any time now.

I heard talk tonight that they're being encouraged to not take their seats at arsenal and instead protest outside the ground at ineos. If only they hadn't pulled the protest trick before to get out of a game due to injuries and embarrassment of handing the league to a rival, then maybe this time it would cary some weight and morality.

Where's Captain Fish fingers when they need him? Oh yeah, at Villa sitting on his throne of dosh, pondering his next book about how he single handedly saved Timbuktu from malnutrition via the power of chicken nuggets and still got home in time to claim his OBE.

Manchester United is to transform its corporate structure as part of a series of additional measures to improve the club’s financial sustainability and enhance operational efficiency.
The transformation plan aims to return the club to profitability after five consecutive years of losses since 2019. This will create a more solid financial platform from which the club can invest in men’s and women’s football success and improved infrastructure.

As part of these measures, the club anticipates that approximately 150-200 jobs may be made redundant, subject to a consultation process with employees. These would be in addition to the 250 roles removed last year.

Plus the £40,000 per annum towards the mufc disabled supporters club is now under review . Not bad for the biggest club in the world . 439 jobs lost and it’s still sinking and stinking. Glazers lapping it up as they’ve now got a shit deflector in cockney Jim.
The snake from us must be absolutely terrified he’s next hope is . It’s not been our best season but sitting back watching this load of slime decomposing takes the edge off it.

Jim Rat the Scruffy is an anti alchemist....he turns shit into diarrhea.... quite a feat don't you think.

A specialist in failure !!

I can see Jim and the Glazers having a major breakdown, the Glazers have took all the money and left a huge debt while Jim is taking all the flak
