Reaction and latest as Manchester United announce plans to build an "iconic" new 100-000-seater stadium close to Old Trafford.

100k capacity apparently. Would make sense to build it just outside the M25 so their fans can get there from Surrey or a quick hop from Heathrow after they land from Asia

Sounds to me like it'll be another loan. They're going to be £1bn+ in debt in 10 years time.

No way in this current economy that the government finance it.

Probably charging £100 a game minimum too.
