Yesterday I realised my finances won’t stretch beyond November, I’m laying off my gardener, my Poolman and my cleaner. I’m closing the kitchen and eating from a food bank.
However today ive decided as we have made these savings I’m building myself a 3million euro villa.
Thank you for your understanding

Ratcliffe is an expert in getting other people to pay for his businesses. He got the previous government to guarantee loans on an investment he was making in Belgium, for Christ's sake. I can't help thinking he is doing something similar here. Maybe get the government committed and invested, plead poverty and then get the government to pick up the tab somehow rather than be involved in an embarrassing failure? He must be up to something .....

If I was in government, I would make sure all the planning for the stadium is approved, all financing committed and realistic and prudent cash flow forecasts are in place to show the necessary resources to meet the financing conditions before a penny of public money is invested anywhere ....

serious question....

I am down to my last £3k in the bank, it will most likely run out in about 3 months, I have had to cut back on the dog and cat food and no more treats on the weekly shop.

But I would like to build a company that will rival some of the biggest tech companies in the US

Who's in?

: )
Kier and Andy are wanking each other off at the idea.

You only have to look at how the bucketeers have fleeced MCC to see how easily government officials can be blindsided by pet projects. I don't have faith in our current government to ensure tax payer investment in this vanity project would be secure. Don't let's start on Burnham as he is doing his best as a schill for the rags and he says nothing about what Sheikh Mansour has done by way of investment for Manchester to date!!

& no one from the government or media will say that.

Not a chance that stadium goes ahead/gets approval with that current circus tent design.

It would look better without the big top anyway (albeit a completely bland bowl design), it really does look ridiculous. Like a giant condom over the whole thing.

in my long and varied career in Architecture, I have worked for Foster & Partners, and I can assure yu that the dark Lord has had fk all to do with this design. It would have been given to a team of young interns to visualise , with no semblance of practicality involved. It is a fantasy build.
I have previously remarked on here, that the scheme forms part of a +20 year masterplan for the area, which infrastructure wise would have to be halfway in, before any new stadium could be contemplated, thats 10 years hence, if you got the finances and approvals in last week.
Sir Jim won't see it, Ineos won't see it...hell, half the punters on this forum won't see it.

Im thinking it is a show reel for potential ...middle eastern developers. Thtas all.
