I can't help thinking he is doing something similar here. Maybe get the government committed and invested, plead poverty and then get the government to pick up the tab somehow rather than be involved in an embarrassing failure? He must be up to something .....

If I was in government, I would make sure all the planning for the stadium is approved, all financing committed and realistic and prudent cash flow forecasts are in place to show the necessary resources to meet the financing conditions before a penny of public money is invested anywhere ....

The government will pay land clearance then ground work then foundations
Basically half way there. whose going to pay for dock to be built on ship canal to unload sections being shipped in the government hid in regeneration

Im thinking it is a show reel for potential ...middle eastern developers. Thtas all.

IDIOTS are just fall guys for the Glazers staying 10 more years, sat there pi$$ing themselves laughing over in Massachusetts.
 
It's not going to happen. The Glazers, Scruffy Jim's Ineos and the rags are each massively in debt and surely no bank in their right mind would lend that insane amount of money.
Why are they making themselves out to be a special case, sport should never be static or what's the point in it?
Personally I hope they do a Rangers and go bankrupt, they can start again in the Northern Premier League.

This is definitely going to happen, they actually only need £2 each from their 1 Billion fans.
Even if they they only got 50p each from the poorest half, the richest half still only need to donate £3.50 each.
With those kinda numbers,there's absoloutely no excuse not to build it. I'm sure there were tens of thousands of disappointed United fans who couldn't get a ticket to attend the Ipswich game....this is just meeting that huge demand.

Interns doing fantasy projects to let them experience the speed the industry demands.
Fancy visualisations though. Takes me back :) Anyway, nice career mate, Mr Norman turned me down for a model making job years ago. Did you work in the glass dildo? :) :)

It's fine if people don't agree, but rag comments are pretty childish.

To say they aren't an attraction any more is just stupid though. What's the point in pretending? Yes, their on field troubles will be causing them issues, but they still have a fanbase that clearly attracts interest. They get 70+ thousand for every game and they have been rubbish for a few years.

According to Deloitte, revenues in 2023/24 were City (€837m) and Utd (€770m), so despite their much lower performance revenue (PL prize money, CL prize money etc) they must still be pulling in commercial revenue that is comparative to ours.
