If it will benefit City, only an idiot would have wanted United to lose the game .... the bigger picture always matters more, and always will.

At this late stage of the season, and us deperately trying to stay in the Champions League places, we need to aim to finish as high as we possibly can ..... we needed to keep Forest in sight, NOT drop nine points behind them!

It might well have cheered you up, but the reality is ..... what good has United losing there done us??? The answer is NONE whatsoever!
Oh I don't know. It gave a lot of us a good laugh.

I think you'll find you're surrounded by "idiots" then. Qualifying for the CL is down to us. The good it has done??? Looking at the broken rag tw#ts in work and not having to listen to all the "turned the corner" shit. Always a good thing.

Who wants to play in the Europa League???

It might well have cheered you up, but this morning, in the cold light of day, sit back and ask yourself ..... what good has United losing at Forest done us??? The answer is pretty obvious to me .... NONE whatsoever!
Funny though init

Lol, well I can see your point, but every single United fan I know has long given up on their league season, they wouldn't have expected to win at Forest, a club that has WON as many games as 2nd placed Arsenal ..... United fans already know that, as far as league placings go, they won't be in the fight for a European place next season, and that's why they are absolutely banking on winning the Europa League.

Yes, qualifying for the CL is 'down to us', and a winning run of games would definitely help, but right now our league form is patchy, we have been inconsistent this season, and we need clubs around us to start 'faltering' ..... to help our cause!

We could hardly embarrass ourselves against us against this lot again. The players really owe us a performance.

Was that for the Rags or for Forest ?

Just a reminder too. Rags had the weekend off where as Forest played and game went to penalties.

Fuck the Rags. Just a couple more nails to drive into their coffin, us on Sunday and Lyon. Anything else is jelly and ice cream.

One thing that struck me last night was the Maguire substitution. We've been told all season that Amorim hasn't got the players there to play his system and the last thing he's prepared to do is move away from this system. Why then, was he prepared to move away from it last night when deciding to throw Harry fucking Maguire up front in search of a goal?

The funniest thing was the commentary team who kept saying: “United have some very good players.” Some in the media remain in total denial.

Don’t think Forest final position will have any affect on our final place, they’ll finish above us anyway ….

I wanted them to lose - if that helps

They were just constantly knocking hopeful balls into the box and Forest had 5/6 players waiting to clear it. And Hojlund was like a baby trying to stand up on a bouncy castle. Maguire won 3 headers when he came on, which was more than Hojlund would have got in 4 games.

When you play against a team set up to defend like that, the worst thing you could do is just keep crossing it in. That's what they want you to do. They are set up for that.

Going back years, when Pep was met with the same predicament, he would have Mahrez or Stirling take it right to the byline, get behind them and cut the ball back for Silva, De Bruyne to get a tap in.

That is how you beat a team set up to defend their box.

To be fair, I think they would beat us if they play Like they did in the last 20 minutes, humping long balls for garnacho. That always seems to be our kryptonite especially against these cunts.
Garnashers makes the wrong choice every single time. When Dorgu was on the overlap, he cut inside and shot into traffic. When he was double marked, he tried to take it down the line. When there was no one in the box, he crossed it.

You can't coach a football brain into someone. It's instinctive. I think he's thick as pigshit.
