Relegation Ramsdale could be the missing piece of the jigsaw to complete the demise.
Mr Aaron Grimsdale (GK)

2019 - Signs for Bournemouth, relegated in 2020.
2020 - Signs for Sheff U, relegated in 2021.
2021 - Signs for Arsenal, relegated to the bench in 2023.
2024 - Signs for Soton, relegated in 2025.
2025 - Signs for the rags ...

Just to clarify...are untied still a mid table outfit or a bottom of the table outfit. I find 14th a bit of a head scratcher

Bottom half.

People usually say the "top 6" these days for top of the table.

That leaves 14 teams, it's only fair to divide them for mid and bottom

That means positions 7-13 is mid table and 14-20 bottom of the table.

Although some might say 6 at the top 6 at the bottom and the rest mid table

Onana being jettisoned is now going to take a decent chunk out of their budget to replace him unless they are looking at the cheaper options out there. There’s fires that need putting out all over that squad. The new Haaland who doesn’t know where the goal is, Rashford out on loan on mega wages which not many clubs can afford alongside the transfer fee. Luke Shaw being fit for one week a year, Casemiro sat on the bench on mega money.

..and they're the better players ;-)

I agree but they still get on TV every single f..king week and biased refereeing decisions. Plenty of media still sucking their cocks even though they play sh1te. How do they get away with it?? There must be come a time when there is a drop off of viewing figures that tell them enough is enough.
Exactly.

The favouritism, bias and sycophantic treatment they receive now from the footballing governing bodies, the broadcasters and the press is every bit as much as it was at the height of their glory years.

There's just no sign at all of them being allowed to fade into irrelevance and obscurity.

Based on your excellent analysis, perhaps The Red Filth should amend their choice of 'walking onto the pitch' music to esteemed 60s Mancunian pop combo The Hollies' chart climber, 'I Can't Tell The Bottom From The Top'..? Perhaps our wonderful (not) media might adopt it too?!

Just imagine what it would be like if they were winning things and I don't mean the odd cup here and there....if they'd done what we've done the last 14 years ..... Jesus, just imagine.

I keep seeing headlines in the press/media that rags need to sell so and so's etc.
Rags need to buy 4 or 5 world class stars etc.

Press/media never mention who is going to buy their expansive crap. Never gets mention as to why a world class player would want to go there.
Billion pound in debt, statium falling down, failed UEFA ffp. Can't see much to attract a world class players unless he just wants to top up his pension fund. Wait that's already happening lol.
Any youngsters are going just for the money !

Lol

I hope Liam Delap gives them a wide birth it would be a disaster for his career going there with much better destinations for him to go and flourish.

The big noise they made about their stadium will end up being some dodge on FFP so they can spend in the summer.
