Given the absolute state of the public finance purse it would be a very, very brave move to fund a football stadium. Very brave in 'Yes Minister' terms.

I was working that day, and Mrs Vienna rang me after the first went in, and said, in the most crestfallen voice she could muster, "Bloody own goal!"

Next month will make it 4 years since Pep was manager of the month as serial winners like Legohead (6) and Ten Bob (3) feasted this prestigious trophy. Pep needs to get his finger out and waste less time winning pointless silverware.
KDB must be deluded if he considers his time spent in the PL as a success without winning a single PL player of the month.

I’ll take your stats there as facts and say the facts there are just laughable.
 
I wonder what Spurs side will turn up at home to Man Utd. Last weekend they were awful at home to Chelsea, yet in midweek they won 4-0 against Copenhagen.

Yes but a government that benevolently funds a new rag stadium would then secure the support at the ballot box of 69 billion grateful rags, ensuring that they get re-elected at the next election.

A bit like the Blair/Campbell approach in promoting the GPC's knighthood.

They tend to turn it against United.

The Rags haven’t beaten Spurs for 7 games. And Spurs have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 7 visits to Old Trafford.
