Looks like it actually will be Solskjaer.

Fucking hilarious beyond words.

Apparently wants to right his wrongs from last time and willing to work for free.

Hilarious. What a try hard.

Like last time he came in, he will get an initial new manager bounce because of how accommodating he is and all the players love him, he will go full 4-4-2, bring the kids through and the fans will yearn for a long term contract, only for it to end like it did last time because tactically he doesn't have the minerals to work long term at a top club in the PL.

It’ll be genuinely hilarious if they do give it Solsjkaer, even if it’s only on an interim basis. They spent millions to sack him just over four years ago! Just when you think that club can’t become any more ridiculous, they find a way to outdo themselves. I’m almost starting to believe that Berrada and Wilcox are deliberately sabotaging the club from within.

Those at the top are not died-in-the-wool "reds."
Fergie is the only one of the heirarchy to have links to his old regime, otherwise, that DNA has long gone, and is now only found in the mouths of pundits and journalists claiming their shilling off the past, long-gone glory days. The fans can still talk of a DNA that once ran through successful teams 15-30 years ago - so can any set of fans from a successful old club. As for as the modern day reality is concerned, that DNA expired many years ago.

Nicky Butt is correct that the club is rotten from the bottom to the top, and that's because it's in the hands of a bunch of chancers from the USA who've got things sewn-up beautifully, with - for them - a gift horse at the helm who paid massively for a minor share, and has become the unkempt face of mediocrity and underachievement. An unkempt British chancer - with yet another failing sports club under his stewardship. And there he is, ready to take the flak for his American masters.

Butt suggests a rise to the top again within 5-8 years, but on no evidence whatsoever. All fans know that the rise to the top needs - over that period - a spend on players of, maybe £300-400M per season, whilst they sit on a debt already standing at £1.3B; refinancing being required in 12 months or so; looking to tread-water for the next half season, with a significant chance of no "European" money coming in during the foreseeable future. 12 years post Fergie, allegedly world class players and managers have come and gone whilst barely leaving a mark on the club, which is presently threadbare of any truly world class talent, though odd players flatter to deceive the crowd every few games, or so.

It would be quite sad this state of affairs if I wasn't a city fan, taunted by the gobshites for more decades than I care to remember. Who witnessed them joyously pointing to their "Countdown" clock, glorying in our 44 years of failure. Who marked the annual "Munich" anniversary with great respect long before the United board realised they should be capitalising on the disaster - suddenly discovering their "Flowers of Manchester." It's a past that's left me completely absent of any sympathy for the club or it's fans in their pathetic plight, as they look up at the riches of their closest neighbours, wishing...and hoping....."...one day, that's gonna be us again...."

See you at the Theatre of Nightmares very soon for the derby, and a reality check for you, my scummy friends.
Fergie?

Twice?

Fucking hell, panther!

I thought Solsjkaer returning was a joke. This week has just been a United DNA revisit, it seems to happen every couple of years or so. They are permanently stuck in an identity crisis, they’ve tried everything.

Absolute joke of an article and club. The reason they will always struggle until the piss can dies.

Piss stone just doesn't realise writing this shite is part of their problems.Screenshot_20260107_004514_Samsung Internet.jpg

Heard a story that one of the GPC's successors asked the board about signing a player. He then got a call from Bacon Face screaming "You don't ask the board, you ask ME!"
