United - where talented players go to die.

United have a huge problem with culture, management (less so) and ownership (big, big time).

No matter how much they spend, given current ownership's direction, they'll likely be screwed - because building a successful team is all about getting players that fit a particular system, that buy into the system, and are loyal to their manager. And United are clueless about this.

Said it before, and will keep saying it – that stadium does not get built... not as the renders show anyway.
All that glass, it's not a great idea in Manchester and will snowball in price due to it's intricacy. It's just not a feasible design.

Their extensions to Old Trafford apart from the Sir Piss can stand stand are roughly the same age as the Etihad stadium. All the metal work has peeling paint on it and dirt where no one’s been bothered to get up there and clean it. The Etihad needs a spruce up itself but it’s no way near the dump that the swamp is. If they couldn’t be bothered to maintain their stadium in its current form what will the costs be keeping something as intricate as that how it should be?

I meant to have said on Saturday, the first rider to retire from this year’s Tour de France was one of scruffy Jim's Ineos Grenadiers.

I don’t wish injury on anyone, with very few exceptions, but it’s piss funny that everything sporting that the Kremlin season ticket holder has turns to shit.

Let’s hope he keeps his 27% holding in the swamp dwellers for a century.

Every major rebuild at the Swamp funded by taxpayers, I'll let them off the re build after the bombings in the 40's of course (I'm not that harsh) but 66 World Cup Funds, early 90's dipped into the Taylor report case fund (as we all did tbf) and when it became clear that was not enough into the FA / Govt funds to upgrade for Euro 96. 30 year refresh cycle bang on track.

Few self funded additions / updates throughout the last 70 years but anything significant they've not paid for and have no intention of opening up their wallets on this occasion. Spuds, the Arse and Everton should be the first shouting about this if it happens again.

And Brailsford has quit the rags and gone back to ineos grenadiers

They probably have before, maybe many other clubs as well, but that's the thing with the rags - protected by the British media and their wall of silence.
How about dropping a line to Tebas - he effectively stopped Nico Williams' transfer from Bilbao to Barcelona by revealing the latter's financial status. He could do something similar regarding the rags' financial cover-ups.
