Fine, if gutless hacks like Slimy Stone and a few others wish to outdo Goebells in the bullshit department, I say let them continue. If the tabloids in this country are happy to emulate Kim jong Un's 'Guide To Propaganda' then again, I'm okay with that. Neither the rags nor the gooners covered themselves in glory yesterday, in fact they were both awful. Two teams that wouldn't have looked out of place in the Championship despite the grotesque amount of money thrown at them - in particular Slimy's favourites, the rags. The dreadful long-ball tactics the two sides dished up for their respective fans yesterday was a slap in the face of the people who parted with their money to watch a Premier league game of football - and got nothing like it.
If the rag masses see nothing wrong with paying an obscene amount of money to watch their team play Sunday morning football, that's up to them. But for biased hacks like Slimy to try and paint a totally different picture for the rest of us - don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.

Do the Rags have a totally new generation of fans who can’t remember when they were good? That match was dire yesterday. United had no pattern of play. Just lump it wide for someone to hoof it into the penalty area. They will get destroyed by more rapid teams than Arsenal were yesterday.

The same pattern of Arsenal being too cautious, diving, time wasting. Arteta will never win the title. They were terrible against United. They look burned out.

Yeah quick diagonal hoof to the other wing was the same play by the rags all game tbf arsenal had it more worked out 2nd half they did it time and time again against us at their place last season. Really really disappointed in arsenal and their main strength defence looked very shaky.

They are morphing into their manager: nervy and over anxious all the time, more scared of losing than scoring more goals. I've been saying it for a long time but they will not win the Prem under Arteta, the man is neurotic and not up to the challenge mentally.
 
There are some strange posts in this thread that are taking the piss out of yesterday's performance.
To me it had all the hallmarks of the beginning of a title winning team.

All they need is a new keeper, (Donnaruma for 85 mill + 250k a week should do it) a couple of defenders, well maybe 3, two midfielders, a decent forward and a new manager who is capable of actually managing.
You watch then, this lot will fly.......

A bit like the pigs will do at the same time.

Maybe they can hire some new dinner ladies and then immediately sack them again as some kind of Chelsea-style PSR loophole.

No need for a PSR loophole. They say they are skint but spend 100 million plus. When questions are asked (not by the Premier League) they simply say everyone is looking at the wrong accounts. A company called RedBentBastards (perhaps not quite accurate but it will do) based in London are overflowing with money, those are the accounts, honest mister.
