See this thing with Mainoo is a good example of how any manager at utd has to bend and lean towards what the utd fans and utd media spotlight demand.

I don't rate Mainoo, I certainly don't think he's one the "best talents this country had produced". I think Amorim knows that, but he is going to HAVE to play him through fear for his job. All the utd fanpundits demand he plays Mainoo (as if that will fix everything)

I can only speak for myself of course, but personally I won't watch either the rags or the dippers because the evidence of corruption is just so overwhelming I find it embarrassing.
I'm a FOC and I've been watching the game since Tutankhamun once famously said: "I'm off to bed now. Got a slight migraine. Last one up please turn off all the lights." There has always been element of shady dealings going on in the game: back-handers, brown envelopes, however we like to label it, corruption is a part of the game. Hard but true, the same as in any industry. Look at Hollywood, casting couch, nepotism and the rest of it - it's nothing new.
What is new, however, is modern technology, the rise of the internet, social platforms, cctv, mobile phones etc. Today we can see, hear and obtain information that was not available to us pre-web.This makes it even more difficult to hide the corruption from the rest of the world, because in so doing they are making it even more obvious that they are not being truthful with the paying customer.Pgmol change the rules whenever they see fit. They will make up a new rule on the spur of the moment if it benefits a team in red, and are under no obligation to discuss this 'new rule' with anyone.

Football in this country died when Rupert Murdoch became a rag supporter in the 80's, and the funeral cortegè has become a grotesque sideshow ever since.
So how do you square off that Rags are convinced it's corrupt against them, the dippers against them? Are they viewing a different web?
Why are you following a sport you believe is dead?

I can pretty much guarantee United will get a home draw in the FA cup 3rd round against div1 or lower opposition.
It’ll be live on TV, because of ‘the magic of the cup’.

And if they win, they’ll get another home draw… and that’ll continue till the semi.

...like they did at Grimsby

I follow City, who just happen to play a sport that I was once in love with. The Premier League can go in whatever direction it chooses, I will always be a Manchester City FC supporter and therefor put them first.

I no longer go to games (except non-league). As a pensioner I was priced out of that many years ago. I like the grass-roots stuff and the bit of banter you get in the lower divisions.

Got to keep the matchday income as high as possible, given the lack of games they have.

They could probably play a friendly mid season this winter with the lack of games - just to boost income at home.
Who cares, they got Grimsby in the league cup and look how that panned out :-)

I don't know about @KentBlue but I can't shake off City no matter how hard I try. It's an addiction.
I hate what the Champs League is. I hate the way Infant Tino has corrupted the world game more than Blatter ever did.
I know the league has always been skewed (bent) towards the rags, add to that Var and scores of other things that are corrupt, 115, last years cup final everything but I am there tomorrow because as a 10 year old I fell in love with City.

Mainoo is average. Tearing it up for England against pub teams and a Cup Final goal does not make you a legend. Every single player they get is over-hyped and this is their biggest problem.

Football is fantastic. The best thing about this country (and theres not much here to brag about). I understand people who for one reason or another stop watching it live. We all go through periods of life where our priorities and circumstances change. But, for me, I will never give it up. I can't think of anything better to do on a cold December Tuesday night than having a drink by the river at Fuham with pals and watching a typical City performance.

I’ve only seen Mainoo play a few times and the game generally bypasses him in the midfield.
Either ball watching, or just completely inconsequential to how the ball moves from defense to attack, when defending or attacking

I think he's another one who would develop under a better coaching set up than his current one (if there is one!). If he could be tutored correctly he could go on to be a very good player, as it is I see nothing but a below-average career for him if he stays at that vile rat-infested swamp.

Okay I agree with you on the team and supporters but, what are they going to do about the rodents?

Hes bang average at best and just another reincarnation of jizzyjazz. Diving twat. They must practice that all week at Carrington. Cheating bastard should be getting yellow cards

Amorim is probably 2 or 3 press conference away from calling the entire Utd academy shit lol.
