Jsut rewatching this on Sky+.. It was actually a lot more comfortable than I thought it was at the match. At the match, I was peaking through my fingers every time United had the ball.. But looking at it now on the telly, when United did have the ball and attacked, they ended up just hitting a brick wall.

Pissed it? Pissed it.

Why I always watch matches back afterwards. No sane person can properly judge a match after watching it live. It just doesn't work like that.

Glad to see that's your verdict though. I'm still shitting bricks here! :D

I cannt believe i saw that happen for a number of reasons

Firstly, it seemed reasonably easy.....we didnt get out of 2nd gear yet we tore them apart

Ive seen us play better this season and we destroyed them at OT ......again it just seemed so easy

And that pass by Silva for the last goal......now thats how you play football!!!!

had the same thought about them getting it back to 3-3 but when the 4th went in I relaxed again.

No you were not.
I was gutted to lose the clean sheet but
then thoughts of 3-2 and even 3-3 entered my head.
"Please City hold on" and then i was treated
to a masterclass in counter attack football.

Heh, I said to someone after Fletcher was pushing Joe out of the way to get the ball back, "This'll be 3-3....just watch!"

They were stupidly leaving themselves wide open. Schoolboy stuff with both fullbacks playing as wingers, and a man down. The clinical way we finished them off was most satisfying.

Absolutely amazing City! Watched it at a hotel bar in Abu Dhabi and as well as it being the best result in my lifetime, the funniest thing happened too. Some gobshite rag in the bar piped up when Balotelli scored and we started cheering. He said "you City fans never learn, united always come back". Well after the fifth goal went in we followed him out of the bar singing "this is how it feels to be city" he turned around and shouted like a schoolbrat "I hate City leave me alone" ha ha ha ha we couldn't stop laughing for about an hour. He was about forty as well lol!

I am heartily laughing out loud reading this. Must admit, though, it's not taken much to make me laugh today.

My "small time city" mentality can't wait for tomorrow at work! It's our turn!
