I worked with the EU for three years re Treaty of Lisbon and first and second banking directives and their effects on UK. I suspect I know a damn sight more than you about the subject. As I have said, a short term economic only view won’t get you anywhere. I have no idea how it will work out, but ten years is a tiny fraction of our history. You sound too convinced that you are right.
Why do you think France and Germany are at each other’s throats at the mo, re defence, cancelling their regular joint cabinet meetings?
What do you think about mutualisation and socialisation of ECB debt? Do you even know what that is? It is easily the most important long term economic issue.
Both of the above are of key interest to the UK.
Do some homework, ignorance is where the shame lies.
