Iran retaliates, presumably as successfully as they have every time before, and takes out desalination plants in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, power plants in Israel + more oil and gas plants.

Millions of refugees overnight without water, Israel in the dark (they only have 5 power plants so can't lose any).

That would be phase 1. Then you' have the inevitable escalation from Tump and Israel again, gulf countries definitely join the war officially, Saudi might invoke their nuclear defence pact with Pakistan (subject to China letting them). God knows what would happen then.

So having failed on the regime change objective he now plans to bomb the whole infrastructure on which the economy is based. The long-term impact of this on Iranians will be seismic. All they now have to look forward to are power cuts, loss of jobs. food and medical shortages. Again it will be children who will feel this most.
