No. Only has to be 35 or older, born in the US and not convicted of insurrection or rebellion (the last explained rather hazily in the 14th Amendment).

Makes sense that you can't vote but can run the country.

A lamentable lack of foresight! Only a few years earlier they'd witnessed citizens in Boston try to make tea using seawater, and they didn't recognise that the people might be that stupid.
