And so the cycle continues.......Everyone who fell for Trump if even for an instant tells the rest of us we should be ignoring him and us triggered keyboard warriors are all to blame for keeping him relevant. It’s not Trump, it’s not his supporters — it’s his detractors. Especially those who saw what he was in 1990 and tried to warn everyone. It’s all their fault.
Uh huh. Sure it is.
Look, I get that those who fell for him for an instant are embarrassed as hell — and they should be — but I’d certainly appreciate it if they admit they fucked the fuck up — if only for an instant — and admit their blaming the rest of us for his continued presence is deflection of their own shame. Which we of course know it is. As do they.
Personally, I’m beyond “laughing at him.” Watching cops have their faces stomped in by the supporters he incited will do that.
The bogeyman needs the children hiding under the bed believing in him to keep him relevant.
He might end up arrested/in prison for sure, or this could all turn into the publicity stunt he's after - largely driven by his opponents. We have the same thing here albeit on a smaller scale with Boris in what looks like parliamentary if not exactly legal hot water, while he's mooching around the edges of getting back into power in a couple of months.
