I never understood the endgame of telling lies like this….

Going somewhat under the radar is an incredibly important victory for liberals. Janet Protasiewicz has just won election to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court, flipping the majority in the court to 4-3 in favor of liberals.

This victory is important as the court is all but certain to hear a challenge to an abortion ban. Another important issue that may come before the court is the legality of Wisconsin's Republican-drawn legislative maps. Should legislative maps be redrawn, the party makeup of the state's eight US House seats might change (Republicans currently hold six of the eight seats in the roughly 50-50 leaning Republican/Democrat state).

Liberals gain control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court for the first time in 15 years

Janet Protasiewicz’s over conservative Dan Kelly will allow the court's new liberal majority to determine the future of key issues like abortion rights.
