In all my life I had no idea how bad Washington DC was, and yet in the last few days I've been given the impression that it's the most dangerous place on earth.

I feel quite sorry for all these government officials who are having to live in this hellscape, but I can't help but wonder why none of them have ever mentioned it before...

Seems like him (and someone like Gavin Newsom) fighting fire with fire is the way to go for the dems over the next few years.

Wall Street suggest they can weather the storm for the next three years (despite the economic damage Trump is managing to inflict) before returning to some sort of normality.
I don't really see this period as the end of American's dominance (and gather a fair few historians think that way) or end in a cinematic civil war, although no doubt things are getting messier by the day.

I'm not too sure that things would ever been the same again, long term relationships with staunch allies have been damaged, maybe never to be restored. Interesting times ahead.

He doesn't need to shit on them.. he's already shitting on Americans who will pay trillions in tariffs and if the middle class wasn't already struggling.. they are going to be transforming into the Working Poor!

Remember the past ladies and gentlemen.. when people would immigrate to America to find a better life and job and make money to send home.

What you're seeing is a reversal in real time.. Americans looking for jobs and a better life overseas to make money to send home.

We used to make fun of Saudi's and say why would you go work in Saudi Arabia.. but if you can get a job there or somewhere else.. you'll be lucky as MAGA has totally destroyed education/ critical thinking which is needed for good jobs. So all those foreign workers building Dubai/ Jeddah up.. yep that's gonna be Americans because they'll pay more than American jobs!

When the shoeshine boys are giving out stock tips it's time to get out of the market.

Global markets all pushing record highs. Trump tariffs killing the economy. Americans can't afford to gamble....
 
Pete Buttigegg seems a really nice bloke and a decent candidate which is all that matters. What he does behind the doors of his own home and in private as long as it’s legal is of no interest to me.

I prefer Pete in the roll of Potus than any of the Republicans who enables Trump and his fucking lunatic followers.
