Essay piece in the Grauniad today raised a good point about the risk of third party candidates taking votes away from Biden and therefore helping Trump

But both Bannon and Navarro will go to jail. The proud boys are in jail. It's starting to close in.

I agree its far to slow and Trump will delay as much as he can. But if you think of this as a huge pool of interrelated MAGA world trials then they are starting to lose and there are more losses to come and that will be the backdrop to his campaign.

Trump hates paying for anything, let alone other people's legal fees. This help for Guliani is clearly too little too late. Trump would have been dragged kicking in screaming in to this. And it's not enough.

This is quite simple, if Trump doesn't help these people the chances are they flip and help themselves. And he ain't helping.

Trump hates paying for anything, let alone other people's legal fees. This help for Guliani is clearly too little too late. Trump would have been dragged kicking in screaming in to this. And it's not enough.

I certainly agree that there are a lot of people willing to tell the truth, and potentially give evidence against Trump, but there is still a long way to go before he's in jail.

Don't forget also that Michael Cohen went to prison for Trump, who was sole beneficiary of Cohen's actions, and for some unknown reason remained an unindicted co-conspirator in that case.

The unknown reason is that trump was still president.

And prosecutors have to way it up. You have to ask why is Navarro going to jail but Gym Jordan seems to get a pass for the exact same offence. There may be some legal technicality we don't know.

But looking at the wider Trump woes and given the number of cases, you have to assume something will stick.
