His record is awful. He will be dogged by questions on his views everywhere he goes.

If you're going to pick positives then this sort of character is exactly what the Dems would want to highlight in their campaigns and fund raising drives. It makes it crystal clear what the choice is and destroys the myth that there are still moderates with influence in the GOP.
