Trump's attorney in the attempt to keep him off the ballot in Colorado, Scott Gessler, was roasted on CNN by Kaitlyn Collins for repeating the totally debunked lie that Trump tried to prevent the violence on January 6th by authorising the deployment of the DC National Guard. Gessler doubled down with his lies by also repeating the debunked claim that Pelosi turned down this non-existent offer.
Trump's repeated lie that he pushed for 10,000-20,000 DC NG to be deployed was blown apart when when his former Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller and National Security Adviser General Keith Kellogg both testified under oath at the Janury 6th hearings that at no point before or during the events of January 6th did Trump authorise or request any additional security.
It's also been made clear many times that Pelosi had no authority or control over Capitol security despite the Trumpists repeatedly lying that she did.
