Trump and his cronies, including Vance, are not “hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and expect something in between” actors.

They are “hope for something in between a theocratic fascist regime and the institution of western liberal democracy being taken to the very edge of the abyss” actors.

The Republicans hate the UK. Not just because of the new quote about Islamist state, having Sunak as PM was a step too far.

At one time the first ministers of England, Scotland and Wales were all from a racial minority. They would have hated that, had they been aware of it. Here in the UK hardly anybody noticed.
