As a matter of fact that's not true. One of the well known claims about the organizers of the protest was that they requested and made sure to inform the protesters NOT to show up with their guns or weapons.
They did this because they knew the political elites were going to make scapegoats of them. There is a reason why there were NO GUNs ... ZERO found on any protestors. They all have guns... But didn't bring it just to avoid the appearance of being Insurrectionists.
As someone who grew up in a Country where Coups were normal and common, I can tell you, showing up without weapons is the Definition of "NOT a Coup."
Were some rioters terrible, obnoxious and despicable? Absolutely! But this is true of all protests. Hence why I generally hate protests and I support jailing rioters. Always have. Always will.
Ah! You must have missed where I supported the prosecution of all the protestors who rioted.
Funny how I never see any of you guys when I supported the prosecution of rioters when they are BLM types...
But here I am saying the same thing again. Prosecute the rioters!!!!
