US Politics Thread

My country? I’m not American, which you would know if you actually read these threads or retained anything from reading them.

And it does matter if you are an uneducated Nazi, as I care about the future of my home countries of the UK and Spain and people like you will have a say in the courses they take.
Sorry, but it's proper weird getting so triggered by all this if you are not American.

Of course it is no coincidence, just like Kamala is planning to do a Dr King impression for her last turn in the same place as his famous speech. It's all play acting and hamming it up for the masses.
Nothing to do with MLK, and even if it were, it's false equivalency, and you know it.

Do you not think using MLK as inspiration for a speech is a bit different to using Adolf Hitler?

Matthew Dow election strategist and now psephologist has been analysing the latest non partisan polls. He says Harris has a 2%-4% lead nationally and that the swing states are no different. He is confident that Harris will win.

I live in the US, my son is an American citizen by birth (as well as Swiss, British, and Spanish), and many of the people I count amongst my family are Americans. And the course the US takes—politically, economically, militarily—will have a massive impact on the world (and definitely Europe).

Why is it “proper weird” to care about the future of America, even if you aren’t American or living in America?

Tbh having lived through one trump presidency that didn't really change anything here I'm not excited at the prospect of another. If he wins he'll have his term and disappear.
