The mass deportations could have a huge inflationary effect, I mean god forbid if businesses had to pay a fair wage for the crap jobs most immigrants do for them prices will skyrocket
So are you for a fair wage or underpaid immigrants? I'm not sure I totally understood where you landed on either issue.

I don't understand the Democrats position on this either.

If you deport illegal aliens the price of strawberries will skyrocket.
If you deport illegal aliens the price of meat will go through the roof.
Speaking of roofs, if you deport illegal aliens no one will be able to afford a new roof.
If you deport illegal aliens you won't be able to afford someone to clean your toilet.
If you deport illegal aliens you won't be able to afford a landscaper.

Are Democrats saying that illegal aliens depress wages? Are Democrats saying that they are content with exploiting the labor of illegal aliens? Does the price of goods and services depend on paying illegal aliens less than a livable wage?

They're all too stupid to realize that deporting 15-20 million people will kill our economy. We have record low unemployment so taking that many people out of the job market will literally leave millions of jobs unfilled. Not to mention that our current prison population is around 1.2 million so we'd have to process 15x more than that to deport them? What are we going to do? Build more prisons or camps? How much would that cost on top of what losing all of the tax revenue these people generate? Is their plan just to murder these people to save money? (I seriously think the rank and file GQPers would actually prefer this method)

Yes. Literally Hitler's plan is to murder 15-20 million illegal aliens to save money. It's all laid out in black & white in Project 2025, page 635, section 2.

After you return from the front-line in the Ukraine, you need to take up arms and march on Washington to save democracy. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Amirite?

Undocumented workers contribute $BILLIONS in state and federal taxes and take very little out of the system in return.

It's not going to happen. There will be a bunch of headline cases, but in reality, it'll be as well implemented as the Tories' Rwanda plan.

This stuff is always about motivating voters, not any genuine desire to do anything about the issue. Which is why we had the 'Stop the Boats,' ship them all to Rwanda party presiding over some of the highest immigration numbers in history.

That sounds like a fantastic system and we should employ it in the UK.

Why don't we forget legal migration and just attract millions of illegal migrants. They could do all the shite jobs and we make them pay tax. However, because they're illegal they will take very little out because we can prevent them from accessing healthcare, education etc. Winner.

I really do despair sometimes. There is zero argument for an illegal population in the US or UK.

$30 billion in taxes. $150 billion in costs. What are the real numbers? Lets assume that they do pay in more then they cost: are Americans snickering behind their hands at this?

It's a sad state of affairs when the largest and most complex economy in world history will not function unless we exploit the labor of illegal aliens who just came to America looking for a future, don't you think?

I think Trump should announce a blanket amnesty for illegals.
Announce a plan to fast-track citizenship.
Promise to increase the federal minimum wage to $35 per hour.

A plan Democrats will surely get behind.

The argument here is that rapid mass deportation will crush the economy. Again, it's another problem that has built up over decades, and there isn't an instant solution.

But there is doing what's right and not what's wrong. If somebody is in a country illegally then there are legally only two choices.

Either that person applies for some form of legal status or they don't and they're deported. The law doesn't allow for some utopia where people exist somewhere illegally.

It doesn't benefit migrants either because they're technically ineligible for any state benefits, healthcare, voting or anything whatsoever. The only single benefit is that it benefits what you're describing which is actually an illegal economy.
