Oh Michael.

Hitler was not democratically elected President, he was appointed as Chancellor by Hindenburg who was the President.

I reiterate, this is not about Trump, it is about how far Corporate power should be allowed to influence politics.
The SCOTUS has ruled that Corporations have the right to free speech, and their ability to pay politicians is a form of free speech, thus (in America) Corporations can influence politics as much as individuals...and more, if they have greater resources, which they all do.

Unless, and until, we have Campaign Finance Reform, Corporations (Koch Industries, anyone?) will continue to dominate the DC $$$$ lobbying game that (IMHO) served to undermine “the people.”
