Democrats need to smell the coffee and appeal to young voters like the GOP does for older white voters. Abortion, Marijuana, student debts; when you do stuff for people they will vote for you! It’s not rocket science!

The white working class (esp male) voter, that used to be the core D voter, has been co-opted by lies and the stoking of fear of other, plus various other levels of gaslighting.

Unfortunately, it has coincided with the growth of the reliable black voter, which suggests dark motives in Republican messaging (pun intended).

The hope now is inflation continues to decrease, the economy encounters a short 2023 recession that is over by Christmas, and the turnaround is complete by Q1-2 2024, in time for the Presidential election…which also returns Congress to Blue.

Whatever happens, I just hope Dems can find, and coalesce around, a cogent, four or five issue, positive, agenda…AND STICK TO IT!!!

Republicans have become the Party of Anti… the Party of Negatives… the Party of ZERO POSITIVE AMERICAN AGENDA!!!

The Red Dribble is going to change Congress in the level of trickle that is sharply LOWER than the average midterm seat change!

This is a very positive statement for Dems, but I just hope they can extract the CORRECT message from it and build on it from here.

Good luck to us all.

It means "moving forward" and not going back to the time of women not having rights, people of color not having rights, blind nationalism disguised as patriotism and willful ignorance.
Then why do only.those more left seem to be called it? in the US this is the term thankfully hasn't seeped into UK polotics properly yet.

all though things should be a norm for all democrats surely not just the more left wing ones, seems it is both used as an insult/slur as much as a positive term depending on wbo uses it.

Pluss all those thing mentioned are not being progressive, there being grown up, respectful, civilsed, you know normal the fact they have to be seen as progressive is a bad reflection on any society
