If that’s right then I don’t see how the GOP does anything except get smaller, which means their power shrinks. But they DIDN’T win the presidency. They DON’T have the Electoral College. They DON’T have the Senate. And if we’re right about the direction the GOP is tailspinning into, it’s LESS likely, not more, that they’ll get closer.
