So in half of states its ok to abort a foetus in the other states its not. In those where abortion cannot take place if the baby gets shot at birth so be it - 5th Amendment Rights. Mostly supported by Devout Christians who seem to conveniently overlook the 6th Commandment and shoot people.

I think you mean 2nd Amendment rights ( To keep and bear arms).
I'm not 100% certain but I think the 5th Amendment is about not incriminating yourself in court !!

Its " Thou shalt not kill " - interestingly if you look the commandments up on Google you get mostly American church's interpretation which they have reworded " thou shall not murder" - its ok if you are found not guilty of shooting that black guy Mr White Cop God forgives you

The 'right' to cut up an embryo and hoover out the bits is one which l would decline if l was a woman. Hardly a reason for joy.
Even worse is the 'right' claimed by the more extreme ones that insist the time frame should extend right up to the day before birth takes place.

I posed a question a couple of pages back, from a neutral position, an open question to ask whether this new ruling would enforce personal responsibility when it comes to sex, outside the usual caveats.

Not one person had the courage to answer it because it put a dent in their reasoning about abortion being an everyday use as a contraceptive because no other form was used. As far as I know there are 20+ ways to prevent pregnancy in the US.

I found the side step of the question very interesting and that's me in favour of a woman's autonomy over her own body.
