Here is OZ we have gone way too far to the left for most lower and middle class voters and a third of the population are struggling to keep the lights on and the government is in strife to get a second term the first time in a nearly a century. Businesses going bust at record levels and a GDP per capita contraction for 7 consecutive quarters not seen since the last World War and that is just the start of it as we go from energy rich to energy poor because we shun nuclear and go mad on renewable only intermittent , expensive , environmentally destructive energy transition. Government hand outs for electricity rebates to all customers for some paltry relief never needed before COVID aside as costs sky rocket. Black outs already on the cards in major cities if we have a summer as hot as we used to many decades ago.
