However, Newsom’s speech was fantastic and anyone who wants to be the Democratic nominee in 2028 is going to have to beat him.

Would love to see a Newsom-Buttigieg ticket in 2028, because they come across as the two smartest guys in the room AND have good ideas on how life should be in America.

Newsom must be favourite for the nomination. His aggressive attacks on Trump and all he stands for are just right

People vote for the top of the ticket, and the centrist moderate votes needed to tip the scales are not nearly the homophobes of the right wing Christian nationalists.

When I think of weak VPs who haven’t hurt the ticket, one needs to go back a ways to find one that helped!

It’s way too early for her, but if you want a woman, look no further than the Governor of swing state, Michigan, who will be the top female candidate in the Dem pack.

Indeed. The agitation will be created by increasingly aggressive military boots on the ground in increasingly greater numbers of Blue State major urban areas…unless Roberts has the balls to drag the Court back to the middle to stop this Fascist Dictator from changing America irreparably.

She is a very smart, accomplished young woman with a very bright future, but 2028 feels too early for her.

She is one of a group of three exceptional women (Sherrill, Slotkin and Spanberger) known as the “Mod Squad!” You may recognize the last name as last nights winner of the VA Governor's race. She served as a CIA Operation Officer in a previous life. Elissa Slotkin, who also worked at the CIA, is currently serving as a Michigan Senator.

Three females with military backgrounds, and distinctive service records, who have climbed the political walls of power with aplomb and significant success.

We could do much worse…and have!!!

Or maybe a domestic black flag terrorist emergency, especially if it involved one of his properties that may have had a recent and unexplained increase in insurance valuation.

I have read that the population of NYC is 8.5 million people. If you believed what you see on line all 200 million of them are moving to Florida. Including the 2 million that voted for him. House prices will spike in The Sunshine State.

I like the new mayor to rattle trump's cage by casually throwing in suggesting an independence referendum should Trump get more fascist.
