Same as here. I think many of the working class truly believe that we spend half the UK budget on ‘illegals coming on boats’ and, saddest of all, whatever that spend is, will be spent on them and the poor, if we ‘just get rid’.
If Farage and the Tories who’ve joined him get their way, there’s only one group who’ll be enriched and it won’t be the poor. Although, when they’ve broken up the NHS, they’ll likely save a fair bit on future pension commitments…

Also car manufacturers tend not to like to ship cars around the world. As one executive said, you're basically paying to ship a big box full of air. They make cars for the North American market in North America, so the US is really up against Mexico. I had a Nissan back in the day. It wasn't built in Japan, it was built in Sunderland.
 
Senator Tammy Duckworth (D) has revealed something quite astonishing. She has spoken to many Republican colleagues in Congress and discovered that many of them have not watched the videos of the murders of two citizens on the streets of America. They have chosen to condemn the victims as domestic terrorists sight unseen. They have decided that the false narrative is more cogent than the truth. Sums them up really. Meanwhile millions of people all round the world are better informed than those senators, whose job is to make themselves aware of events.

Hasn't she been mired in accusations around Russian links for years now? I think some people are of the view that she (too) is a russian asset?

I know many people consider 9/11 as the greatest failure in American intelligence history but it's hard not to think in the future that'll be usurped by what we're seeing unfold in real time.

I recall her being accused of being a Putin sympathiser in her Democrat days.

Probably why Trump tempted her to the dark side.
