Hard to know what to think let alone say about this. Many unhappy Americans want easy answers and he says he has them. Now we get to live with tbe consequences.
Economy for sure. Biden choosing to run, causing Democrats not run a real primary didn't help. Immigration was a disaster.Economy. Israel. Biden all had an impact.
She was battling against someone that slagged her off daily and people believed a lot of what he said.
YesWill the republicans have control of all 3 branches in January?
Overdramatised version of the truth where the poor silent Trumpists sat back cowed into silence against the mean pro Harris crowd. We had three threads on here that were all just basically outpourings of hate/rage/ fear about trump and anyone questioning Kamala's suitability, popularity or likelihood of winning was pretty much abused. Mostly by the characters that have now largely slunk off after weeks throwing their treasured opinions around like facts.
I think it’s a few things -
1) The country is further right than many of us would like it to be and those people are voting on emotion not specific policy
2) The radicalization of young white men
3) Social media’s (and media in general) sowing of discontent and misery and Dem’s inability to understand or control it
And most importantly -
4) an electorate that is unhappy with the incumbent
gotta be Pete Buttigieg, innit?Trump would beat her aswell. One round of rallies and the whole Internet is calling her big Mike. They needed a sharp, intelligent charismatic young MALE to go up against him. The American population has proven twice they will elect literally the most unsuitable candidate possible over a woman.
I’m starting to think Harris might have been a worse choice than Clinton. As you say she’s a terrible public speaker and she’s robotic - she couldn’t connect with anyone, other than basically Hollywood.Economy for sure. Biden choosing to run, causing Democrats not run a real primary didn't help. Immigration was a disaster.
But above all Kamala Harris was simply a terrible candidate to run against a headwind. She is as bad of a public speaker as I've ever seen on the national stage
They both called each other names. That was a wash. She simply couldn't connect with people who weren't already anti-Trump.

He will be buzzing from this result because he doesn’t give a fuck about the realities of a Trump presidency, just being a smug **** on the internet.Overdramatised version of the truth where the poor silent Trumpists sat back cowed into silence against the mean pro Harris crowd.
All bollocks of course, and has nothing to do with my post that you replied to.
That was to simply to say that the accusations I've been seeing all day that Harris did or said nothing but criticise Trump weren't true.
