US Presidential Election, Nov 5th 2024

Re abortion: Doesn't repealing Roe v Wade place abortion rights in the remit of the individual states? I read some states were voting on abortion issues as well as the presidential election. Maybe there is a realpolitik answer here but doesn't that now provide a buffer between him and abortion rights?
Another way many expect conservatives to go at this is a fetal personhood law related to the 14th amendment. It would give fetuses a right to life, essentially making abortion, ivf and birth control illegal.

Does this mean Boris is making a comeback?

Can't have a tarquin in charge of the country, they're delusional.

Personally I doubt it, though the narcissistic inclination will still be there he doesn't face the existential threat that Trump faced without running/winning. So if Johnson can find easier grifts that still massage his ego he'll be too lazy to go again. The Frog Faced Fuhrer is another matter altogether imo.

Why's that? She posts inflammatory things all the time. Is it because she's a woman? Sounds a little sexist. She has as much a right to post what she wants, and deal with the consequences.
Evening. Would you like a muffin or a barm?

How did our loss feel for you?

Or you could answer the question.

Neither here nor there. Trump isn't the saviour, but Kamala?
I take it you’re American? Please remember, this is mainly a British, no, Manchester forum, and we look after our own.

If you had any intention of actually understanding people, you’d have read that I called the vote well before it was called in your own country, and have no real issues with what Trump will do, as we just adapt.

Just to confirm, you are American and have a vote?

PS. No need to reply, I’m off to bed.
