It’s not just tariffs. It’s every single policy and every single topic.Well I obviously hope you’re wrong but let’s see. I don’t think it will be cataclysmic or the end of America. Most likely it will be shitter for the rest of the world than the US.

Not only does he have a “mandate” (and boy are you gonna get tired of hearing THAT word outta him), but also . . .
There. Is. No. One. To. Say. No.
Looking from the outside in, that always seemed obvious and was the scariest prospect of what has come to pass. It’s not just tariffs. It’s every single policy and every single topic.
Not only does he have a “mandate” (and boy are you gonna get tired of hearing THAT word outta him), and he never has to think about re-election, but also . . .

Having read Michael Lewis “the fifth risk” it’s going to be an even bigger shitshow this time around. Is there any chance the Dems can win the House or is that gone as well?Who’s going to stop him if the House and Senate are red?
ALL his experienced advisors walked from him. He has none to turn to who’ll advise him against it. There ARE no cooler heads to prevail. They all left last time. And whomever he selects for any role will be confirmed by Congress because there’s no one to stop him.
We have no back up.
If that wasnt a typo its brilliant :)The CIA have experience in removing rouge leaders...
The only saving grace from the upcoming shit show is that countries such as the UK will be forced to reduce our dependency on the US for lots of things, and in the very long run it should strengthen our own country and help alliances closer to home.
Saying what we really think on here is not the same as putting it in the mainstream media or on the larger social media platforms. At best there’s only a few hundred people reading this forum so I’d rather be able to say what I really think without worrying about upsetting people.I don't think democrats need to sink lower than Trump and his cabal. I think if they just stop calling people who disagree with them stupid and uneducated then that will help. Also saying America is too racist and misogynistic to appoint a black woman as president isn't going to win you support. No one is sat listening to that and suddenly having an epiphany that maybe they are racist and misogynistic. They'll just say it's racist and sexist to assume black people and women should have voted for Kamala because she is black and a woman. I remember people being outraged that Bigga would have a negative view of Obama because they were both black.
Also the democrats might be the party to protect women but from the rights perspective the left can't even define what a woman is. Then the left accuse them of being unreasonable and weird for believing something the vast majority of people has believed for most of human history.
The undocumented migrants defence is weird. Hey guys we need people who will work jobs for low wages and it's important that there is no record of them existing. I don't think rounding them all up and deporting millions of people is the best response but neither is supporting a system that is only a few steps removed from human trafficking. One of the first responsibilities of every government is to have secure borders.
For clarity I think Trump has very few redeemable features and should probably be in prison. But reading some the rhetoric on here is disheartening - not because people are indecent but because they demonstrate many of the elitist attitudes that the Trumpers easily rally against. Educated people can be stupid, racist, misogynistic and wrong. Telling people they are stupid doesn't make them smarter but equally being educated doesn't make you less stupid. You just have the biglyest words
