I never thought FL would flip but I did think IO was significant. I am not too surprised by GA and NC but though she'd waltz MI and would win PA. Oh well.

NC and Wisconsin were the 2 I thought she'd win.

NC because of the silly Republican Gubernatorial candidate who was a drag and Wisconsin as I thought it was the safest of the Blue Wall States. Didn't think Pennsylvania will hold due to depressed minority enthusiasm and the Palestine Left convinced me Michigan would flip.

But it's all guess work. Wisconsin fell by half a point, Michigan by 1 point and Pennsylvania by less than 2?.

They all turned out to be toss ups.

This is hysterical bed wetting nonsense. Trump is nowhere near power or effecting change until well into the new year. Ultimately this is all happening on the current governments watch.
I can appreciate anxiety at what is to come and that a minority of Americans are upset about the election result, but the simultaneously contradictory views that are held by some of you at present are just silly.

I have to say, the Facebook side of the house have been fairly quiet. Musk on the other hand hasn't been quiet at all.

The same people who thought Florida could be flipped were the same people who broke the jizz-o-meter when that bogus Iowa poll came out.

I kinda liked the Iowa poll. Even though it turned out to be wrong. I found it to be more honest than most polls.

In elections past we used to see so many wildly divergent polls. And it was the aggregation of those divergent polls and their trajectory overtime that gave us a good sense of what the landscape looked like.

Unfortunately in this cycle, it seems pollsters were all putting their thumbs on their poll results and artificially made all the polls within the margin of error... Which was annoying S it gave little to no indication. I believe Nate Silver complained about the phenomenon.

Anyway all the polls ended up being kinda right and wrong at the same time.

What makes it worse is the same day that poll came out there was a poll by Emerson University that had Trump winning by 13. Trump won by 13.

That's what I disliked. The polls were close according to almost of the posters because they were too scared to be honest.

Polls are supposed diverge because pollsters are using different baseline metrics. That Iowa poll clearly was.

He's got greater reach because of the American electorate choosing to give him it.
