I love how we in this country seem to mock all US presidents?
From a country who has done a great job voting in Prime Ministers.
For me, Trump is gonna do this, he's almost home and hosed. If he's clever he'll get out in front of it and announce a running mate before Rubio goes for Kasich.
I feel sorry for Sanders, as he can't win his party's nomination, the system is rigged against that happening.
Trump is no 'conservative', he's just trying to be all things to all people, and those who underestimate him, have already paid the price.
He doesn't even need the ads and has spent less out of his own pocket than that clown Jeb and Cruz put together. He only needs to speak and it's headline news and even the Pope did him a favour.
He could even take New York and New York State at this rate.
He's the lesser evil of everything else out there, and Cruz is just scary on every level.
I suspect Trump will go for Carson or Rubio as a running mate, as he seems to have plenty of time for both.
It would not surprise me if the establishment try and get Rubio and Cruz to team up.
Cruz or Clinton as president is the scariest scenario out there.

If Trump wins I may have to move but cannot return to UK......the leader there is more of a buffoon than Trump

Trump will lose to whomever he faces. He appeals largely to uneducated, scared middle-aged white people. And there aren't as many of those around as there used to be. He has no chance of winning the general election.

It looks like Trump will in all likelihood take the Republican nomination, with Clinton the most likely to take the Democratic one. The presidential race between those two will be fascinating to watch, I still don't see Trump getting all the way to the White House though. He's so anti everything that Democrats want and stand for that you have to assume he'll be the catalyst for a huge Democrat turn out to ensure he doesn't win, he'll also alienate the more moderate elements of the Republican support too.
If the unthinkable did happen, and Trump did become president, then I shudder to think what he'll do. His foreign policies and opinions will make the USA about as isolated as it has ever been from the rest of the World.
