They are at the moment, but it's expected there will be some more industry specific tariffs, including pharma.

This came up recently in Malaysia when people were boycotting because of the US support of Israel. People in the government were arguing that you'd just be harming local franchisees, and that's definitely true. But this idea that it'll cost jobs is BS. When people boycott McDonalds, they don't stop eating out, they just eat out somewhere else. Somewhere else that is more likely to keep their money in the local economy and actually pay a proper rate of taxes. Other businesses will thrive and need more staff to expand.
 
I note we’ve seen hide nor hair of Dax. I presume he is intently watching Fox or YouTube or whatever, waiting for someone to tell him what he should think/say about all this — tariffs, gmail accounts, deportations of citizens — so he can parrot back what he heard to us and act like these are all his own thoughts.

Also, the chicken and seafood is washed in chlorinated water during processing.

Not having that shit on the supermarket shelf is well worth paying a 10% tariff.

If toxic chicken is the tradeoff for a better trade deal I'll pass thanks.
