USA to host La Liga games

And rightly so when they would give a fuck about home league games being played in Boston.

As I say, only Yanks don’t have a problem with it.

Well, I'm a Yank and I think the idea is deplorable. I'm perfectly fine with an exhibition match every couple years nearby and getting up at the crack of dawn to watch matches every week from the comfort of my home.

Besides, if they play real matches here someday it will make my eventual pilgrimage to the Etihad feel slightly less meaningful.

They need to. Can you see any other club but these two being involved?
They (the league) tried to say the match wouldn't be an El Classico, but tbf I can't see a match not featuring 2 from Barca, Madrid, Atleti, Valencia and Sevilla being a success in the first year so we all know what way it would go.
Actually think the league may have acted outside the limits of their authority here, players from all 20 clubs unanimous in opposition, if the clubs go a similar way can see this getting thrown out and a few at La Liga getting the boot. We already know the fans won't be in favour.

The captains of the 20 La Liga clubs are reportedly set to meet tomorrow and prepare a statement for the Spanish federation, refusing to play competitive matches in the US.

Great to see players standing up

Yet I still anticipate Ramos to commit a red card worthy tackle on Messi when they meet together at the HQ
