looking like Wigan are wanting City Legend Uwe Rosler as their new manager. Good lucjk Uwe!

Hope he turns them down to be honest, though unlikely as Dave Whelan is a tosser and I prefer never to see him or his poxy club back up again, however if he does join I wish him well and success in the job

Why..It's a good away game, fairly priced and a good allocation, I hope Bolton,Wigan and Blackburn come back up. Much rather go to these grounds rather than a Reading,Cardiff,Palace etc

I would love bolton, blackburn and burnley up and going to them, but as for that odious little knob whelan not a chance, the peg legged twat can languish in the lower leagues for me. As I said if he takes the job I wish him well and hope he's a success but would rather see him at Wednesday or wait to see what better opportunities come up, I expect he will be managing in the prem whatever happens soon enough as he's quality all round

Re: Uwe to Wigan

Hope he goes there, brings them up, and then we can sing his name at the Etihad and remind him where his destiny lies.

Re: Uwe to Wigan

I am in no way a fan of Wigan, but I'd love Uwe to move up, he's started well in his managerial career and it'd be good to see him make a step up. They actually have some good players in Carson, Watson, Maloney, Powell etc. especially for Championship level. A lot of their troubles come through their European participation and the fact they employed that idiot Coyle as manager.

Whilst its nice to have good local aways , I always think its in city's interests for those clubs to be out of the premier league, because we can pick up fans from those areas.

Re: Uwe to Wigan

Can't stand Whelan. One of the most odious characters in football IMO. Still if he gives Uwe the job I'll think of him as less odious.

Re: Uwe to Wigan

Dont mind Wigan so pretty please with this, the only problem is Whelan being a twat.

Oh and the fact I said I wouldnt be suprised if they went for Uwe when he was 66/1 (I didnt stick money on)

Re: Uwe to Wigan

Uwe's interview:

DW: Thanks for coming to see us about the job Uwe.

UR: No problem

DW: So I've just got a few questions for you if you don't mind?

UR: Fire away, Mr Whelan

DW: Ok, Question One.... Did you know I'd broken my leg in an FA Cup Final?

Agreed however want
Uwe to be a success so good luck to him

Re: Uwe to Wigan

Also .... worth considering that it'd be a good place to place youngsters who need first team experience. I suspect Uwe would like that and so would City.
