Vaccination Passport | Fans will be denied entry without valid NHS pass

That's right but is it really feasible to check 50,000 people.
One thing the club can do is invite season ticket holders to send evidence to the club that they have been vaccinated. They can then enable you to have access without carrying out further checks. Any season ticket holders not vaccinated would have to produce evidence of a lateral flow test along with everyone else. They should use the technology to minimise checks.
I’ve been to a couple of games in Europe (including Bruges away) and they checked everyone there. They set up cordons around the ground and you didn’t get through until they’d scanned your pass/QR code. It’s not that hard.

The point I was making is that we have 36000 season ticket holders and they can use technology to save time and resources rather than check everyone that comes to the stadium. Its easy enough to do. I know that they can do it manually but it will take a lot of staff at considerable cost.

But they would have to check all them 36,000 were season ticket holders so if they are doing that they may as well check the covid app.

There are different ways of doing this. One way is to scan your code as usual and then scan your covid passport on your phone both at the turnstile. The system can be configured so that you cannot get through unless you have both.
The system can then recognise that you have submitted the covid passport and in future you would only need to scan your ticket.Just like shopping on line the system should be able to remember your details.

They didn't check ours

Maybe they treated the visiting fans differently. I was in hospitality in the home end and everyone had to go through a checkpoint and they were scanning everyone. If it didn’t go green you didn’t get in

You can use it if you’ve saved it to your wallet.
Just done this. Thank you. Seems like the thing to do can imagine issues with lots trying to access “live” simultaneously.

It would appear to be easier to have a database of everyone’s status and when people purchasing tickets have to say then rather than have stewards checking. I just can’t see that being successfully implemented.

however, I think this is just a sign of how most businesses don’t want to do it. City don’t want to be holding data. They don’t want to be employing enough people to get them in quick enough

I have been to a few gigs thw last couple of month, all had covid passport/negative test requirements.

All you were required to do was show it to a steward visually no scanning or faffing about, it took less than 20 secs to pass through the line.

Didn't see anyone mither about it as it really wasn't a hassle

No one really knows, but players getting it won’t be a factor in the decision.

It‘ll be if case numbers start going through the roof.
Hospitalisations surely mate

what's the score for schoolkids(sorry if answer already posted) like my two lads(both 13 and had one jab) what do they need to do to get entry
