Vaccination Passport | Fans will be denied entry without valid NHS pass

I have been to a few gigs thw last couple of month, all had covid passport/negative test requirements.

All you were required to do was show it to a steward visually no scanning or faffing about, it took less than 20 secs to pass through the line.

Didn't see anyone mither about it as it really wasn't a hassle

yeah I’ve been to gigs and football and needed to show my proof of vaccination in the past few weeks - and it’s made absolutely no difference to my day/night whatsoever except for the intense effort of pressing a couple of buttons on my phone.

a lot say its not difficult to wear a mask or its easy just to press a couple of buttons on your phone on entry.

fine if you believe all the junk you see on tv, problem is a lot of people dont stand up and say its pointless and to late to be going to this extent, it ticks a box.

The idea of plan B is to encourage people and organisations to take precautions in light of the new variant and to have their vaccinations. I would say the reason lots of people aren't "standing up and saying it's pointless" is that most understand from listening to the evidence of scientists and healthcare professionals that Omicron could place extra pressure on the NHS in the coming weeks and so broadly agree with the measures. I guess we'll see tomorrow if more people start wearing masks at the game. It's impossible to say one way or the other if doing so slows down the progress of Omicron but my opinion is there's no harm in trying, but if others don't agree it's just the way it is.
