Valencia in for Negredo?

If only we could wind the clock back to when Negredo was plundering goals for fun

But he now wants to leave. And we have to deal with it

You want to turn down the loan. maybe the Negredo that would stay would not be the player that terrorised the Premiership for 6 months.

We're not going to let the player go without good grounds however hard it is to accept. If we were run by Swales with some of the managers we've had in the past I'd think differently but City are one of the best managed clubs in the game at the moment and we just have to trust the decision making

If in time it turns out wrong then we'll remember this day, and others to come.

They're Champions. You called them mercenaries but a mercenary is a player who leaves Atletico to go to Mnaco to play in front of 5k, and then turns down the Champions, and Champions League football for £346k per week

Jovetic, Dzeko and Aguero are fantastic players and will prove it once again this season.

You tell the red fucker Marv!
They are everywhere today. Been in our shadow for 12 months. You can't blame them coming out for a bit of air. They wont be out long

The structure of his posts certainly whiff of rag. That notwithstanding, your statement that Jo Jo, Edin and Kun are fantastic players is fairly pointless in the context of this debate. We know they're fantastic, but only two of them are strikers and one of them has got softer muscle tissue than a 3 day old lamb. Selling Negredo without having a replacement lined up remains an idiotic gamble, and particularly in a league as cut throat, competitive and physical as the Premiership. What part of that is not getting through?

Just a recent update

Man City fully expect Alvaro Negredo deal to be completed tonight. Nothing moving on Nastasic loan interest.

Manchester City allowing Negredo and Guidetti to join Valencia and Celtic respectively. No new striker coming in. Strange, that. #MCFC

They know fuck all about our business, they've only just found out about Guidetti. As far as the media are concerned we could do anything in the next 2 hours and they wouldn't find out about it until after it had happened.

I think we should get in Vaz Te as replacement. Much cheaper than Falcao would have been and can play out wide as well as up front.
Haha.

No.
What a wind up Vaz te. Come you can not be serious when Jermaine Beckford may be available

if the beast goes without a replacement you can kiss goodbye to retaining the title.

I'm afraid you may be right. Can't believe what txiki has pulled off on the last day of the window.

Txiki and Pellegrini aren't daft. I don't think they'd let Negredo go if they thought it might leave us short. I think we're either being set up to play with one up front more often, or they are confident that Inehacho is going to be good enough for the first team, and Negredo being there might block his progress.

In Txiki we trust.

FFS, Ihenacho is 17 years old, hasn't even got a work permit and isn't particularly likely to get one!!!

Jovetic has scored 2 prem goals already! Negredo scored 9 all last season.

If Negredo leaves we won't win the league LOL, Rag mentality is flooding through the forum.
