You can fuck right off with that kind of bollocks. How does questioning the wisdom of going into a 50 or 60 game season with just TWO recognised strikers (cos no way is Jovetic a centre forward) constitute "crying like a woman"? If you can't spot the almighty and unnecessary gamble inherent in that, then fair enough, but don't start gobbing off at those that very obviously can

Just ignore him. He's one of the faux "hard men" on here who call everyone with even the slightest criticism at the club a flapper. Just too manly for us he's probably chewing on broken glass and punching a rottweiler in the face as he types.

And why do people presume that the powers that be don't know what they are doing

because if they do this....they don't know what they are doing.....doesn't make sense on any level....its not as if we overspent and need to find funds from somewhere....we are plenty enough under the FFP restrictions to keep him.......

If we have a replacement lined up then fine

If not its a very very risky move by the club.....

And who else could we possibly get at this late hour? It would be someone who has gone completely under the radar since the only striking option we have been linked to all summer is Falcao......so unless we haave kept something very secret I just dont see it......

Seems very odd to me and very risky and a backwards step

No way can we rely on Guedetti as 4th choice...he is a huge step down from Negrado or anything else we have.......he needs to be got rid on infact as he will never make it at prem level

An injury to one or more of our strikers and we will be left very short

Dont even understand this forced loan option. What is an option in this. Lets say its a permanent deal at lets schedule the first (and only) payment date to 2015 summer.

What is an option in this?

What if he will be injured all season there, or just wont be good enough for their manager they still will spend 20m on him next summer or try to back out of the deal somehow...

This is seriously stupid by us. Aguero has spent the last 2 years with various injuries, Jovetic has spent his entire career consistently injured so that leaves us with Dzeko who is the only physically reliable player up top.

On top of that, Yaya will miss around 6 weeks in January.

We have a very tough CL group, with potential 6 pointers sandwiched in between the CL games. There's an obvious need to freshen it up. That was evident on Saturday, and that's only three games into the season.

It's like we haven't learnt from our last title defending season. Losing a 23 goal striker is a disaster, if we want to be successful in all four competitions.

This isn't needless flapping. I would be just as concerned had we only had 3 centre backs. I'd be even more concerned if two of the three had spent large parts of last season injured.

This will bite us on the arse if Negredo goes. We need four forwards. This has been handled comically bad.
You don't think City know all that?

Which Negredo are we losing? The unstoppable phenomena or the absolutely useless lump? We don't know what his mentality was like this season. He might hae been promised a move if a Spanish bid came along for all we know. As I have said repeatedly Negredo can't play until October and can't play in Europe so he's a pretty useless 4th choice striker anyway. And the window opens in January

We may come to regret this. These are managerial decisions you take which have an element of risk and a regard to many factors which we don't know about including the individual
I'm sure the club do know about it but that doesn't stop us from being allowed to moan about it haha.

It's just a big risk to take. Even though Negredo is out til Oct/Nov, there is still a period of about a dozen games where rotation would be very useful. Considering there was only 7 points between 1st and 4th last season, it only takes a couple of bad results to put us in a pickle.

We can buy again in January, but as we saw with Dzeko, he might not see the benefit til the year after.

We've done a great but of business with Negredo financially, but we really do need a replacement to come in. He did only score 9 in the league, but he scored 14 in the cups, and that will take some replacing.

What because I believe in the Manager and Leadership of the club? Maybe I should be crying like a little woman like the rest of the flapping girls.

i think maybe because he believes the management who work with the players everyday, that one of two things has happened. The player is that unhappy, there is no point in having him around or there is a young player they feel can chip in with the third striker role. Either way if Negredo wants to move on, good luck to him and thanks for memories.

Finally a sensible voice in all the screaming.... ;)

LOL, we've gone down from 4 strikers to 2. What makes you think we won't bring someone in if needed in Jan?

Erm, that's 4 months away. And in the meantime if Kun cops for let's say a 3 month injury, we do what? Flog Dzeko to death, Wednesday and Saturday, and cross our fingers? A crass gamble, simple as that

Well this came out of nowhere: Wigan are set to turn Emyr Huws' loan spell from City into a £3.25m permanent deal. (via @SunMartinB)

WTF is going on? I thought he was slated to come back in January as bench player. When Yaya's at AFCON and fat Frank leaves for NYCFC we're going to operate with just Ferna and Nando? This is getting really weird.

Maybe the boss has had enough :-)
