On the other side of Manchester - City have sanctioned Alvaro Negredo's exit as he is set to join Valencia.

Something not quite right with that poster.

What because I believe in the Manager and Leadership of the club? Maybe I should be crying like a little woman like the rest of the flapping girls.

You can fuck right off with that kind of bollocks. How does questioning the wisdom of going into a 50 or 60 game season with just TWO recognised strikers (cos no way is Jovetic a centre forward) constitute "crying like a woman"? If you can't spot the almighty and unnecessary gamble inherent in that, then fair enough, but don't start gobbing off at those that very obviously can

LOL, we've gone down from 4 strikers to 2. What makes you think we won't bring someone in if needed in Jan?

Just ignore him. He's one of the faux "hard men" on here who call everyone with even the slightest criticism at the club a flapper. Just too manly for us he's probably chewing on broken glass and punching a rottweiler in the face as he types.

This would leave the club short in two areas (striker and central midfield) not good.

Eh? Didn't realise the Beast was a midfield box to box player.
I'm talking about overall. Lampard as 4th choice is a massive risk because it would be suicidal if he was needed to start big games, especially if only two central midfielders was fit. I can't help but think, the club at this minute only have three central midfielders good enough for big games.

Chelsea was weaker when they had Lampard starting in the last couple of seasons.

Not ideal this but what's stopping us pulling David Villa from his loan at Melbourne city to be our 4th choice striker until he needs to go to NYC for the MLS season with lampard?

Don't think the club would do that, would look very unprofessional.

So would having a lack of fit strikers due to injuries during the busy Christmas period or title run in for example.

Short term fix which is best for city at this
Moment in time IMO.

FFS calm down cookster...didn't mean you meant that clown Mancitybluemoon1...

Apologies, it wouldn't be Bluemoon if there wasn't some in-fighting ;)

Perhaps the deal is.. Negredo can go but if the shit hits the fan and we have injuries he will be asked to return?..
