I'm happy with this deal. Not sure about a replacement but, anything can happen so if the bosses think this is okay then I am too...
Who says the bosses are happy about it? They might be saying the exact same thing as a lot of us are but find themselves in a situation that's too advanced and we find ourselves without the time to rectify it. There could be a meeting between Pellegrini Begiristain Soriano and al Mubarak next week and they might all agree that this was a negative thing and we hope we don't regret it. People make mistakes all the time in work, maybe City have here.

Maybe we won't regret it and Kun and Jovetić stay fit all season and Džeko doesn't go into one of his low in confidence slumps. But it's a maybe going off previous examples.

Might .... could.....might.......maybe........maybe........maybe

A born pessimist. We did our big spending over the last 3 years. We are now tweaking our squad and PLANNING our buys NOT panic buying. We can't just buy players because they are available - nor can we stop other teams including the scum, from trying to improve their squad. But it doesn't lessen the quality we already have in our squad!!!!
What are you on about? I'm hypothesising a situation, not being pessemistic.

Plus what on Earth have United and stopping them improving their squad got to do with us losing one of our four strikers and not keeping it as a four?

We must have someone lined up for the January window and we have decided to cash in on Negrado now. It is the only logical reason for it

"At least till January.... Ahem."

I thought that was a strange comment on the OS today. The "Ahem" that is.

This is seriously stupid by us. Aguero has spent the last 2 years with various injuries, Jovetic has spent his entire career consistently injured so that leaves us with Dzeko who is the only physically reliable player up top.

On top of that, Yaya will miss around 6 weeks in January.

We have a very tough CL group, with potential 6 pointers sandwiched in between the CL games. There's an obvious need to freshen it up. That was evident on Saturday, and that's only three games into the season.

It's like we haven't learnt from our last title defending season. Losing a 23 goal striker is a disaster, if we want to be successful in all four competitions.

This isn't needless flapping. I would be just as concerned had we only had 3 centre backs. I'd be even more concerned if two of the three had spent large parts of last season injured.

This will bite us on the arse if Negredo goes. We need four forwards. This has been handled comically bad.
You don't think City know all that?

Which Negredo are we losing? The unstoppable phenomena or the absolutely useless lump? We don't know what his mentality was like this season. He might hae been promised a move if a Spanish bid came along for all we know. As I have said repeatedly Negredo can't play until October and can't play in Europe so he's a pretty useless 4th choice striker anyway. And the window opens in January

We may come to regret this. These are managerial decisions you take which have an element of risk and a regard to many factors which we don't know about including the individual
I'm sure the club do know about it but that doesn't stop us from being allowed to moan about it haha.

It's just a big risk to take. Even though Negredo is out til Oct/Nov, there is still a period of about a dozen games where rotation would be very useful. Considering there was only 7 points between 1st and 4th last season, it only takes a couple of bad results to put us in a pickle.

We can buy again in January, but as we saw with Dzeko, he might not see the benefit til the year after.

We've done a great but of business with Negredo financially, but we really do need a replacement to come in. He did only score 9 in the league, but he scored 14 in the cups, and that will take some replacing.
I agree it's disappointing but the bottom line is he wants to go, and he's injured and he's also not available for Europe

The only criticism I would make is that we try and find a replacement on deadline day, but I bet Valencia only came alog with their concrete bid in the last 2 or 3days. We had a replacement lined up, but Utd blew us out of the water with £346k pw.

Yu can say turn the bid down, but how do you know Negredo's lac of form last season was not down to him being unsettled. We really don't know, but we think we're smarter than the people who won City trophies and have made very good footballing decisions to date

I'll criticise from time to time, but although I'm disappointed to see a player go and not come in, I'm aware that there are sometimes situations when you don't have full control of events and you just have to roll with them and plan for the future

And why do people presume that the powers that be don't know what they are doing

because if they do this....they don't know what they are doing.....doesn't make sense on any level....its not as if we overspent and need to find funds from somewhere....we are plenty enough under the FFP restrictions to keep him.......

Oh please. What qualifies you on the subject

common sense....that's all you need to see this would effect the team in a negative way and weaken us....

So where loaning him, then its becoming a permanent transfer .
Doesn't make sense to me why not buy him now .

Has Ashley at Newcastle bought us without us knowing ?This is how it feels to be Newcastle ...........

Negredo apparently begging to go to Valencia according to sky sports....
How the fuck do they know....
What a load of bollocks, the fcukers are having a dig at us,while bigging up the rags over the falcao signing, they keep showing his stats alongside granny shagger and van rapist,£6mill loan bet they haven't mentioned his wages.. Fcuk them..

Who are these 3 strikers everyone is banging on about? Dzeko sergio and who? Jovetic is not a striker. Not prolific enough. Him and sergio were riddled with injuries last season. This is worrying we have messed up
