So where loaning him, then its becoming a permanent transfer .
Doesn't make sense to me why not buy him now .

Valencia are having to watch the FFP as still issues with owner/club.....cant buy much until next season....the rumoured loan, with "forced buyout" is the best we could get...atleast we know the money is nailed on to come in 2015 when the 12month loan deal ends...

Who are these 3 strikers everyone is banging on about? Dzeko sergio and who? Jovetic is not a striker. Not prolific enough. Him and sergio were riddled with injuries last season. This is worrying we have messed up
They're Champions. You called them mercenaries but a mercenary is a player who leaves Atletico to go to Mnaco to play in front of 5k, and then turns down the Champions, and Champions League football for £346k per week

Jovetic, Dzeko and Aguero are fantastic players and will prove it once again this season.

You tell the red fucker Marv!

Can only think its a personal issue but pretty poor to not have a replacement lined up unless they are confident about the Nigerian kid.

Thinking this is the plan, promoting youth everybody bangs on about should make some of the moaners happy

Tried it but constantly engaged

Does anyone know if Barry Conlon is available

I spoke to Debbie, she calmed me down. Don't know a Barry?

Glad we never got Falcao.

Disappointed Negredo is going, however I believe the player we are letting go is not the player of Autumn last year.

On a positive, I would love to see Iheanacho given a chance. I think the future is in youth and when I see Sterling at Liverpool I must admit I would like a similar type of youngster in our ranks. If Negredo departing allows that opportunity then it might be a Silver Lining to a Cloud that doesn't really exist beyond the minds of those having a flap frenzy on year.

After all, there have been many threads about the squad starting to mature and no real youngsters knocking on the door. It just might be that given his chance Iheanacho will make more headlines in the next 12 months than Falcao or Negredo.

I'm happy with this deal. Not sure about a replacement but, anything can happen so if the bosses think this is okay then I am too...
Who says the bosses are happy about it? They might be saying the exact same thing as a lot of us are but find themselves in a situation that's too advanced and we find ourselves without the time to rectify it. There could be a meeting between Pellegrini Begiristain Soriano and al Mubarak next week and they might all agree that this was a negative thing and we hope we don't regret it. People make mistakes all the time in work, maybe City have here.

Maybe we won't regret it and Kun and Jovetić stay fit all season and Džeko doesn't go into one of his low in confidence slumps. But it's a maybe going off previous examples.

Might .... could.....might.......maybe........maybe........maybe

A born pessimist. We did our big spending over the last 3 years. We are now tweaking our squad and PLANNING our buys NOT panic buying. We can't just buy players because they are available - nor can we stop other teams including the scum, from trying to improve their squad. But it doesn't lessen the quality we already have in our squad!!!!

Losing Negredo without a replacement does weaken our squad though.

If you think otherwise then you obviously don't think much of his work prior to the shoulder injury.

I was saying how important Dzeko was when many others were saying he should go and was last in the pecking order.

Now most are saying he is key because the jury is out on the Kun , Jovetic partnership and their soft tissue record.

I am positive getting rid of Negredo will be a big mistake for us this season at least.

He turned Hull from a point to three and he would have done likewise against Stoke if fit.

When Navas is in the team you have to start either Dzeko or Negredo , its a no brainer.

Stoke won't be the last side that bank four on four on our patch and Jovetic and Kun aint the answer to get us in front and keep it that way.

They are everywhere today. Been in our shadow for 12 months. You can't blame them coming out for a bit of air. They wont be out long
